    Resolution 259-35 (COR)

    Congratulating Justine Xu for representing Guam at the Winners Concert as First Prize winner of Golden Classical Music Awards New York International Competition at Carnegie Hall in November 2019 and to further extend an Un Dångkolo Na Si Yu′os Ma′åse′ to her for proudly representing our island and best wishes for continued success in her future endeavors.

    Recognizing the University of Guam Breaking Wave Theatre Company (BWTC) for promoting and developing Guam's performing arts industry and showcasing the talents of our island's performing artists; and congratulating BWTC and Joyce Torres on the production and presentation of the one-woman stage show, Comfort.

    Recognizing the Catholic Daughters of the Americas (CDA) on the occasion of "Catholic Daughters of the Americas Day"

    Recognizing Heidi E. San Nicolas, PhD on the occasion of her retirement after more than 31 years of outstanding government servie; and commending her for her lifetime achievements, dedication, professionalism, and exceptional service.

    Recognizing Guma' Rasan Acho' Latte on their 20th Anniversary and commending them for their commitment to perpetuating the CHamoru spirit of unity, culture, and tradition.

    Bill 197-35 (LS)

    Seeking to modernize the University of Guam and update the UOG charter. The bill provides the institution with greater financial independence while strengthening its mission toward island sustainability.

    Celebrating the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment, granting women suffrage, and to celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements built by courageous women—and to further recognize and commend the CHamoru and Guamanian women whose contributions have paved the way toward progress and success for all.
